The 24" × 30" ProDeck50 punched steel deck is engineered for pallet rack systems that require higher load capacity, airflow, drainage, and stable hand-stacked storage surfaces. Manufactured from galvanized 20-gauge steel with a flat punched surface, this deck panel supports up to 4375 lbs. (875 psf UDL) while maintaining 50% open surface area for NFPA 13 sprinkler compliance.

Unlike wire mesh decking, punched steel decking provides a rigid, snag-free surface that improves carton stability, reduces small-part fall-through, and simplifies cleaning in warehouse, manufacturing, retail, and cold-storage environments. The flat steel surface also reduces deformation under dense loads compared to traditional mesh decking.

The 24" × 30" size is one of the highest-capacity standard punched deck configurations and is commonly used in industrial storage systems handling dense inventory, heavy cartons, tools, automotive components, and pallet-supported materials.

Smaller punched deck panels provide higher psf ratings and are better suited for heavy-duty applications. Larger panels increase surface coverage but reduce psf capacity and should only be used for lighter inventory loads.
